We highly recommend that the power products intensifier cylinder is always connected to the work load using an alignment coupler. This will take care of any slight misalignment between the intensifier cylinder and the work load and extend the life of both the cylinder and your die set.

An added advantage to using a quick change coupler is that you can quickly change between multiple
die sets without having to unscrew anything. This allows a single press to be used for multiple jobs.

Unless an alignment device is installed between the die and cylinder rod connection possible damage could occur.
